Finance for buying a practice or buying into a practice

AOP members who are looking for finance to purchase a practice or franchise, or a share in a practice or partnership, need look no further. The Association has arranged for this business finance to be made available on preferential terms to members through the Royal Bank of Scotland. We have negotiated a deal giving members funding of up to 100 per cent, competitive interest rates, and a one per cent facility fee.

The Royal Bank has set up a network of specialist Healthcare Managers who look after the accounts of optometrists, other healthcare professionals – and no-one else.  Healthcare Managers are appointed for a minimum of four years and are given sector-specific training, with input from healthcare organisations such as the Association of Optometrists, together with regular refresher courses to keep them up to date with developments in the sector.

This is why the Royal Bank is regularly rated among the best banks for small business, and has received many prestigious awards. Recent awards have included Best Business Bank Award 2005 ('Start Your Business' magazine) and Best Online Business Banking Provider 2005 (' Your Money Magazine')

To find out more, or to contact the Healthcare Manager in your area, telephone Michelle Wright on 0115-947 6521, who will put you in touch with your local Royal Bank Healthcare Manager.
