AOP Primary Care Toolkit
In response to the NHS payment system 'Payment by Results', the national tariff of secondary care fees and charges and 'Practice Based Commissioning', the AOP produced a toolkit to help practitioners to develop business cases for primary care services. It was launched at the National Optometric Conference (October 2005) and it contains spreadsheets and calculation tools to help you cost your services on an accompanying CDROM. Most importantly, it contains a generic business case that can be tailored to your needs. The calculation tools will assist you in completing it.
