It's time for members to renew their AOP membership again. By now members should have received, in the post, a letter letting you know how much your renewal fee is for 2010 (membership fees have not been increased - click here to see the fees).
Given the postal strikes, some members may not have received the letter. Also, it may be a little while before the postal services return to normal operation. Members are reminded that they can now pay their fees online, avoiding having to rely on the mail.
Click here to pay. Members will need to register online if they have not yet done so (click here to register)

The AOP Council elections are upon us. Nomination forms must be submitted by 29 January 2010. The AOP is very keen to encourage its members to stand for Council. Members considering standing can click on the headline of this article for more information and nomination forms or contact Steven King at the AOP to discuss what's involved.
In a break from tradition, paper copies of the nomination form will not be sent to all AOP members this year, but will be sent upon request to any AOP member who wishes to stand, or nominate or second a candidate, for election to the AOP Council. The forms will be emailed to all members whose email addresses we have.
The nomination form and information about the elections can be downloaded here
