OCT - Is There a Place in Optometric Pratice?

The lecture will give the delegate a basic overview of the Octical Coherence Tomography machine), its scanning features and analysation tools. This will be then applied to common posterior eye pathologies, comparing OCT with Gold Standards currently available.  Conclusions will then be drawn over which imaging techniques best represent the condition, and as a result, protocols will be advised.  Examples of new technologies will also be given, with a suggestion of what the future holds for us with regards to OCT.
