The UK Vision Strategy document was released on 18th April 2008. The AOP was heavily involved in the development of this document which aims to set the direction for a radical improvement in the eye health of the nation. Chief Executive, Bob Hughes, was a member of the Strategic Advisory commitee that developed the document and also made a speech at the launch of the strategy. The full document can be seen below.
