The remit of the OCCS is to deal with the contractual element of the supply of spectacles and contact lenses where these have been supplied within the last twelve months. Anything outside the year our service will not be able to investigate.
OCCS is an independent body set up to settle complaints from members of the public who are not satisfied with the optical services received in an optical practice.
This website tells you about the services that you can reasonably expect to receive, and explains what you should do if you are in any way unhappy about the services you do receive.
