From Thu, 15th of Feb 2007. 15:36:461 October 2006 the need for a fire certificate for premises has been replaced by the requirement to undertake fire risk assessments. This was introduced under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which applies to England and Wales. Northern Ireland and Scotland have similar requirements under their own legislation.
