In addition to any GOS requirements, by law businesses must display the following notices:
Health and Safety Notice – available from the Stationery Office.
Employers Liability Insurance notice – available from the business’s insurers
Trading status:
Sole trader: if trading under another name, notice should show name of owner t/a Trading Name.
Partnership: Name of practice and business address and names of partners, e.g. X & Y Optoms, address. Partners Mr X & Mr Y.
Company: Name of company, registered office address, registration number at Companies House, statement of where registered, e.g. Registered in England and Wales, if trading under another name state trading as XYZ.

In addition to the notices required by law, it may be a good idea to display any refund policy, but this is not mandatory.
